Assignment. Rather than being left to their own devices, students are sent directly to the work which their teacher wants them to do. Work can be assigned to whole year-groups, teaching groups, or individual students - giving each student a personalised task list.

Tracking. All results data are fed back automatically to Engage's markbook - a markbook which requires no marking. As well as results data, Engage can track student competencies against a range of learning objectives such as National Curriculum Attainment Targets or Key Skills.

Sequencing. Pick and mix the best content and combine it with home produced content within self-differentiating workplans. The route any particular student takes through a workplan can be determined by performance, competency, ability banding, or choice.
